Matthew L. Cersine, Esq. – Matt got interested in becoming a Mediator while attending a mediation class during his law school years with Barry University School of Law.  He became a County and Family mediator.   He is currently seeking his Circuit Court certification.  Matt is a Primary Trainer with the Dispute Resolution Center in Tallahassee, Florida and teaches the Florida Supreme Court certified County Mediator Course to individuals who want to become mediators.  He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Florida and is the main partner in Matthew L. Cersine, P.L.  Matt can also handle Tax Law cases in Federal Court and can practice in the U.S. District Court and the Middle District of Florida.  Other practice areas include:  American and International Business, Child and Family, Civil Litigation, Contracts, Government Contracts, International Economics, Real Estate and Wills, Trusts & Estates.



Nina Vu, B.A., CCM
- Ms. Vu grew up in Altamonte Springs, Florida.  She attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where she obtained a B.A. in Economics and a Minor in Business. After being certified in the State of Florida as a Real Estate Agent, Ms. Vu got interested in becoming certified as a Mediator in the state.  She is currently able to mediate cases in Small Claims and County Court.  She is actively seeking her Circuit Court Mediator certification.






Sid Román, J.D., CCM, P.A. - Sid grew up in Puerto Rico and then traveled the world while in the U.S. Air Force.  He settled in Orlando, Florida and while Sid was attending law school, he got interested in taking a Mediation class.  Sid firmly believes that the mediation process helps parties save time and money and avoid protracted litigation and outrageous attorney's fees.  He currently volunteers to mediate cases in the Osceola and the Orange County Courthouses in Central Florida.  Sid is certified to do Small Claims, County, Circuit and Foreclosure mediations. He is currently registered to mediate foreclosure cases in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Broward and Volusia Counties to help with the foreclosure crisis.  Sid is an Assistant Trainer for the FL Supreme Court certified County Mediator Course.

Sid's background in his combined legal defense and plaintiff work throughout the years provides a good diverse prospective for parties in mediation from both sides of the spectrum.

Arve Wikstrom, J.D., MBA

Arve Wikstrom, J.D., MBA - Mr. Wikstrom was first introduced to Alternative Dispute Resolution while attending law school whereby he became a Certified Florida Supreme Court Mediator in 1999. During the years, Arve Wikstrom gained a great deal of experience working for various litigation firms. The litigation firms varied from in-house counsel law offices for insurance companies to personal injury law firms and a products liability law firm where advocacy for the client was second to none.

Upon returning from Afghanistan after a one year combat tour as a Captain in the US Army, advising and conducting combat missions with the Afghan National Army, Mr. Wikstrom realized conflict resolution ought to be the wave of the future in all areas.

He has mediated over a thousand cases and served as an arbitrator in over one hundred cases. Mr. Wikstrom has mediated and arbitrated various conflicts ranging from family issues, employment disputes, automobile collisions and contract disputes.
 
Arve Wikstrom is presently certified as a county, circuit, family and dependency mediator by the Florida Supreme Court, a FINRA arbitrator (f/n/a NASD), a volunteer arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau, a volunteer arbitrator for Arbitration Forums, Inc. and a Parent Coordinator for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. In addition, Mr. Wikstrom teaches the Florida Supreme Court certified county mediation class. He has a BA, MBA and JD.
